To join LinkAble groups, the first step is to register with us.
During the registration process, we will gain an understanding of the needs of the person you care for and how we can best support them at our sessions. The process is slightly different for over and under 18s.
Over 18s
The process for over 18s is quick as we currently have no waiting list for these services.
Here’s what to do:
- Get in touch with us, we can answer any questions you have, and we will collect some registration information from you.
- We will book you in to visit our centre (or you and the person you care for if you have completed the form on someone’s behalf) where you can see the facilities.
- During this visit, we will complete a profile with you which will help us understand how to support your needs during groups.
- You can start using our services straight away. Visit our adult services page to see what's on and how to book.
Under 18s
We currently have waiting lists for our children's services and some of our young people's services. Please get in touch to find out more.
Here’s what to do:
- Get in touch with us, we can answer any questions you have, and we will collect some background details from you.
- We will share a timeline for the assessment process with you.
- Once your place is available, we will book a visit with you and the person you care for.
- During this visit, we will complete an in-depth form about health needs, personality and preferences. We will observe the person you care for to assess their level of need so we know how best to support them while they are in our care.
- You are ready to start using our services.
