Gardening Club offers the opportunity to spend time in the fresh air, connect with nature, and enjoy gentle physical activity. Along the way, you'll learn new skills and make friends.
Whether you are an experienced gardener or have never planted a seed before, everyone is welcome.
Set within our large, fully-equipped and accessible garden plot, participants can enjoy:
- Accessible raised beds for easy planting and growing
- A sheltered seating area for socialising and relaxation
- Watering systems to help care for plants
- A composting area where members can learn about sustainability
- On-site portaloo facilities.
Gardening is a wonderful way to support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Spending time outdoors can help reduce anxiety, improve mood, boost confidence and encourage a sense of calm and achievement.
From sowing seeds and watering plants to harvesting vegetables and flowers, there is great satisfaction in watching something you have nurtured grow and flourish.
