Supporting young people with additional needs back into learning.
If your child is not currently in school, you are not alone, and you don't have to navigate alternatives alone either.
There are many reasons why young people may be out of school: no suitable school place, exclusions or suspensions, emerging needs that aren't being met, bullying, or high levels of anxiety. Whatever the reason, our EOTAS programme can support you.
What is LinkAble's EOTAS programme?
LinkAble's EOTAS programme provides reliable, 1-1 support for young people aged 13 - 18 who are unable to attend school. Our staff are skilled and experienced in supporting young people with complex and higher support needs, including those who are harder to engage or who may display behaviours that challenge.
The goal is to help attendees feel safe, build confidence, and where appropriate, transition back into full-time education. Where possible, we also bring young people together to prevent isolation and support social skills alongside same-age peers.
What to expect
Sessions take place at our accessible centre in Woking, which includes a sensory room, soft play, quiet room, kitchen, and outdoor space. We also benefit from community facilities — visiting libraries, shops, forest school, our allotment, parks, and more. Our focus is on the things that matter most right now: managing anxiety, building resilience, developing social skills, and supporting overall wellbeing.
