April CEO Update | LinkAble

So much has changed since the last time I write to all of you. I hope you and yours are safe and well and that you are finding ways to meet the new challenges we are all being presented with.

LinkAble staff, who would usually be working in the office, are now all working remotely and can all still be contacted by email and phone. Our aim is to stay in as close contact as we are able to during the period when we are not able to deliver our services in the traditional way.

We have been working hard to develop new ways of operating so we can continue to offer services whilst social distancing restrictions are in place. The office team are meeting daily using Microsoft Teams and we are starting to deliver adult groups online using Zoom. We are providing ideas for activities for children on the LinkAble website and advertising this through Facebook.

We have also taken our fundraising online with our first online quiz night seeing 30 teams taking part. We had good feedback from those who took part and we are planning another quiz for this Bank Holiday Monday so keep an eye on our social media feeds for details.

As ever at LinkAble we enjoy hearing from you and we welcome your suggestions and ideas. I am sure you have all come up with some brilliant ideas of ways to use your time your time in different ways and we would love to hear about them.

Stay safe, Stay In and enjoy your Easter.

Alison Keeley, CEO
