"I chose to volunteer at LinkAble because the values of the organisation resonate with me. I really liked how LinkAble are teaching and delivering different skills that will help the service users gain independence. The organisation supports a wide variety of service users and I have a great relationship with them.

My role is to volunteer as a Play Worker every weekend. I play games and do activities with service users between age 11-18, but these activities vary according to their individual needs. My favourite part of working as a Volunteer Play Worker is that I get to see how the service users gradually become familiar with you. I also enjoy the challenging aspect of working with different service users very week as their needs and personalities vary. 

To those who are thinking about volunteering at LinkAble they should definitely come and volunteer. The staff here are all really friendly. It is a great opportunity to give back to the community and to get to meet new people too."
