On Sunday 16th September Michael O'Donnell from Playle and Partners took on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride, tackling the 54 mile route to raise money for LinkAble.

Connor Ward and his cousin Marcus Ward ran the New Forest Marathon on Sunday 9th September to raise funds for LinkAble.  

Will Seigmund wins Woking Young Volunteer of the Year

Will Siegmund who has been volunteering at LinkAble's 'We Can Do Anything' adult group was awarded the GreenOak Woking Young Volunteer of the Year.  Will was travelling in Australia when the ceremony to announce the winners of GreenOaks volunteering awards were held so LinkAble invited the Mayor of Woking - William Forster to visit LinkAble, meet will and make the presentation.  Will was awarded a £1000 donation for LinkAble and received £40 of gift vouchers as a personal prize.

Guildford Cathedral Planter Project

LinkAble's 'We Can Do Anything' Group are enjoying regular visits to Guildford Cathedral where they are ensuring that the cathedral's planters are bursting with beautiful blooms.  The planters were sponsored by local organisations including The University of Surrey and Charles Russell.

Galliford Try contacted LinkAble in the autumn of 2017 to discuss ways in which a charity and a construction company could work together.  The relationship between the two organisations has gone from strength to strength with service users visiting the construction site on White Rose Lane, staff from the company volunteering with LinkAble and LinkAble service users creating the artwork for the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition.
